Mission Statement

We Exist to See the Awakening of People.

Our passion for spiritual awakening in our own lives and in the lives of others grows as we gain a clearer understanding of the gospel truths found in Scripture.

Only the gospel awakens people to the light of Jesus, brings them out of darkness into light, and raises them from death to new life, transforming the very nature of who we are.

Vision Statement

Learning and Embodying the Way of Jesus.

Jesus said, “You are my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings” and “Everyone then who HEARS these words of mine and DOES them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock”.

We believe the way of Jesus is exactly that (hearing and doing, not just hearing), We seek to build our lives through ongoing rhythms of LEARNING and EMBODYING the way of Jesus.

“Whoever claims to live in Jesus must live as Jesus did.” - 1 John 2:6.

Our community is formed around two pillars:

1. Learning: Formation in the way of Jesus

Practicals of Learning the way of Jesus::

We place a high value on the gospel of Jesus—the forgiveness of sins.

We place a high value on the lordship of Jesus in our lives.

We place a high value on learning to walk in His ways in our lives.

We place a high value on the authority of Scripture in our lives and biblical teaching.

We place a high value on the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us.

2. Embody: Mission in the way of Jesus

Practicals of Embodying the way of Jesus:

We place a high value on disciples embodying the call of God on their lives.

We place a high value on believers living with purpose as salt and light.

We place a high value on revealing Jesus through our actions.

We place a high value on living for the glory of Jesus.

We place a high value on believers living both a personal and public faith.

We place a high value on walking alongside others with mercy and compassion.

We Believe.

We hold to the historic teachings of Christian orthodoxy as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

The Bible is the Word of God

The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and is the final authority for Christian faith and living.

There is one true God who exists eternally as three Persons

God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and has revealed himself to be perfect in love, righteous in all His ways, and Creator of all things.

Jesus Christ is God’s Eternal Son

As true God and true man, He allowed Himself to be born of a virgin, taught men how to live by the example of His sinless life, was crucified as an atoning sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, was seen by over 500 persons, returned to Heaven to prepare a place for us, and is coming again to judge all men.

Men and Women were created in the image of God

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, were tempted by Satan, and rebelled against God, thus causing all men to fall under condemnation. Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven of our sins, reborn by the Holy Spirit, and we become children of God.

The Holy Spirit is eternal God and third person of the Trinity

Persuades us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus as Lord. He lives in us, teaches us, enables us to live godly lives and to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God.

The Church is the living body of Christ on Earth

Jesus is the Head of the Church and the source of its life. The Body is composed of those who have received Him as Savior and Lord and are committed to one another, existing to celebrate the life of God, cultivate personal growth in Christ, care about one another in Christ, and communicate the gospel of Christ to the world.

Jesus Christ will return to establish His Kingdom

Jesus Christ will return to earth to raise the dead, judge all humanity, and establish His glorious Kingdom. When he returns all believers will receive a new glorified body fit for eternal living. This is the hope of the Church. Those who have been reborn by the Spirit will live with and serve Him forever.
